I can’t even begin to tell you how much I loved photographing this wedding. These two are just spectacular. Kelsey was referred to me through one of the groomsmen’s sisters…that confusing enough? To this particular lady: THANK YOU, I OWE YOU BIG! Kelsey and JJ are just a matched pair, they fit perfectly together and you can see that immediately when you are around them. I had so much fun with them on their engagement shoot and designing their wedding invitations that I was extremely excited about their wedding. Well my excitement didn’t even come close to doing this night justice. My assistant and I felt like family the entire day, it was actually hard for us to not join in on the dance floor (even when JJ offered to switch and he would take the pictures for a while). Kelsey, JJ and your families thank you so much for making this by far the best and easiest wedding to shoot EVER! You two are amazing clients and wonderful friends!

I had a really hard time narrowing down which pictures to post, there were so many that I truly loved! So here are some of my favorites from the day, keep in mind this is a really long post, but it should be so much longer.
Seriously, how fabulous is this dress?
Kelsey used a Reata cookbook for the guestbook, which I just think is so unique and smart!
It was very important to Kelsey that her flowers be awesome, but also not look like everyone else’s. Well I gotta tell ya, she most definitely got what she wanted! The Florals were just beautiful, absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
I could tell you what she was laughing at but then one of her crazy brothers might come and get me. You see the one in the picture below in the glasses, ask him! Another thing I loved about this wedding, was just how close everybody was, it was just one big happy family. Now having said that let me tell you that although this picture of JJ and his guys looks pretty tame, these guys are nothing of the sort. They had me laughing so hard I thought I was going to cry!
Once again, notice the flowers please…. beautiful, not to mention one of the most beautiful group of women ever!
The next image could possibly be my favorite of the day, well its a tie with Granny and JJ dancing, you’ll see that one in a minute.
I have to give credit where credit is due. My wonderful assistant/2nd shooter/mother took the following image and it is just spectacular.
I mean really isn’t is obvious how great these two are together?
Alright now, on to the good stuff. The reception was amazing. WONDERFUL FOOD and SERVICE, the Reata really knows what they are doing. Mom and I didn’t get a chance to grab some cake, we didn’t really get a chance to finish our plates, so the staff at the Reata fixed us to-go boxes at the end of the evening. So that was just really nice, but the best part was that they included the cake as well. WOW WOW WOW ! This was without a doubt the best wedding cake I have ever had in my entire life! Just soooo good, and trust me I like cake, I know what I am talking about here.
As you can see from the above pictures the band was hopin’! 281 South did a really good job of keeping everybody moving.
Granny can move! That’s all I’m gonna say!
Kelsey & JJ Thank you again so much for booking us for your wedding, it is a day that will not soon be forgotten for us. We love you two bunches and bunches!
I love these guys! There just isn’t more I can say about them. They Rock, check them out! http://www.myspace.com/sixmarketblvd
